Can These Bones Live? (Lent 5 Year A)

Summary: The good news today, beloved, is that Jesus moves towards death to destroy death forever. Because of who Jesus is as the Resurrection and the Life, Jesus brings resurrection to even the tenderest places in our hearts and loosens the grave clothes that entangle us so these bones can live.

Prayer of Response: Jesus, you are the Resurrection and the Life. Destroy death and unbind me / us in _______ so that these bones may live, bearing much fruit. Lord, in your mercy……
