Open House Thank You

Thank you to everyone who made it out to my open house today! I was truly blown away by the love and support I felt from people from different arenas of my life - church, work, family.

Post auDHD diagnosis last winter, I was severely depressed and burnt out. I truly felt hopeless, and all I could see on the horizon was hard and bad things. Sometime in the early spring I felt the need to paint, something I’ve always enjoyed and done off and on over time, but never with any kind of intention. Painting allowed me to feel something other than numb and angry. I didn’t even care what it looked like or if anyone else would like it or find it beautiful, I just needed to make art for the healing of my own soul.

If you had told me last winter that I’d have my own little business and be working as an artist in my own studio space, I would have laughed at you. But is anything too wonderful for God?

Thank you again, magical friends. I am deeply thankful for each person who came to my open house today and who continues to inspire and encourage me.
